the astrobio curriculum

The exhibition of your storyboards and what you learned will be before an audience, the movie producer*, and the CEO** of the computer company. Your storyboards should be displayed on poster board (science fair project boards work well) or as directed by your teacher.

The evaluation criteria for your exhibition will be based on a detailed rubric, but keep in mind that the basic purpose of a storyboard presentation is to convince others that your documentary should be funded and produced. Key points to keep in mind:

  • Did everyone on your team contribute to the project?
  • Do your storyboards demonstrate mastery of the Focus Questions?
  • Are your storyboards complete, neat, engaging, and easy to understand?
  • Do you consider your final product an example of each individual's best efforts?
Remember that the accuracy of the science as well as the creativity and quality of your storyboards can make the difference between getting the go-ahead for production, honorable mention, or sent back for a rewrite!

** The movie producer may be your teacher or other adult
** The CEO may be the technology director at your school or other adult
